Massage Therapist Steve MooreSteve Moore, LMT

Massage came into my life by surprise. I became interested after getting some body work in 1997 and feeling such a difference in the way I felt. Years of furniture delivery and then curb side garbage pickup caused problems and soreness in my shoulders and left hip. After having to make a choice and a change of careers from driving truck, I found the doors fly open to become a Massage Therapist and I quickly enrolled at UAA in 1998. I learned so much that year. Chair massage was my first love in the field. I worked on a wide variety of people at the Ted Steven International airport. Working there fine-tuned my skills in working on the neck, shoulders, arms and hands. I have increased my training by taking classes in Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Release, Rossiter training seminars and Fascial stretching done on the floor. I am currently a certified Rolfer as well. I will always enjoy returning to my roots as a Massage Therapist to meet the client’s needs in every aspect of bodywork. Although I enjoy my job, I also love to travel to warm, sunny places.
